Wally Pfister directorial debut in this film about apocalyptic Artificial Intelligence. The film tells the story of a couple of scientists who are specialized and Evelyn Will Caster. When Will was murdered to demonstrate in favor of AI without any limits, his wife decides to transfer daniel craig his consciousness to a computer. From there it becomes a monster that needs more and more energy because you want to play God. The film is visually perfect, daniel craig but sometimes falls into excess.
The film tells the story of the prestigious Dr. Will Caster (Johnny Depp) specializes in Artificial Intelligence. One day, after a conference, the victim of a terrorist attack by a group anti-RIFT Internet (with Independent Technology daniel craig Revolution) led by Bree (Kate Mara). From there, his colleague and life, Evelyn (Rebecca Hall) try not to lose the transferring his consciousness to a computer, in a project called Trascendence. Johny Depp will give your character knows enough mystique. Rebecca Hall shows perfectly the love of his performance to Will Evelyn and evolution of the personage. Also worth mentioning is the presence daniel craig of veteran actor Morgan Freeman.
The director Wally Pfister said in an interview claimed that this film: "I wanted to get away from the stereotypical idea of a machine sensible seizing the world. There are deeper questions about why we are using the technology. To heal or to create a barrier? This use is benevolent or malevolent? I want the public to understand one side and the other the question: if we take advantage of technology and technology advantage of us. "A debate that the director takes more than adding another interesting point of view: how technology makes us believe that we are God.
