Roots Music has as guests Playthoven group members (Anca Sinaci - violin, Radu Sinaci - cello) and carried out with the support of key partners: National Cultural Fund Administration, ArCuB (Centre for Cultural Projects of Bucharest Municipality), Association of Romanian tradition and Senia Music.
The event is part of a larger project entitled "Roots Music" with the way in Berlin (August 2nd) and Bucharest (21 September), and is an initiative of the Romanian craftsmen community translation that benefits from the support of the National Cultural Fund Administration. "In Focus" explains Carmen Revencu, coordinator of the event, "are reasons aids that have migrated from traditional music, folk, classical music, just as visual archetypes translation that occur repetitively both traditional handicrafts, and in the modern, contemporary. Playthoven was established following an initiative unique classical instruments namely adapting translation to various musical styles. The idea materialized in time, through several formulas and tests. It's a new sound, original, covering styles such as classical music in its traditional sense as well as jazz, rock, folk, acquisitions and processing of some classics in a unique way, and not least covers all this filtered personality of the two members.
In addition to the atmosphere created by the music and visuals are introduced. Exhibiting photographic art compared translation the traditional influences, archetypal elements and contemporary translation art old archaic reasons.
Photos exposed, made mostly by photographer Marius Caraman bring the public sculptures of famous Romanian artists: Marian Zidaru, and Mihai Vasile Gorduz Sarbulescu, and anonymous works of Romanian craftsmen.
